More info

TFI Co. supplies the EU3212 Silver Class straight bending punch upper tool for press brake machines, serving the metalworking and sheet metal fabrication industry across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar. The EU3212 is a straight upper punch engineered for standard press brake forming operations, precision-manufactured and available for immediate dispatch from TFI Co. logistics centres.

This tool carries a working height of 130 mm and a body thickness of 26 mm, with a sharp 30° acute bending angle — the tightest single-stroke air-form bend achievable in standard press brake practice.

Manufactured from 42CrMo (Chromium-Molybdenum Steel) — a high-strength alloy selected for press brake tooling for its exceptional toughness, fatigue resistance, and consistent dimensional stability under cyclic bending loads. All body thickness dimensions conform to DIN 7168 Fine tolerance standards, ensuring consistent clamping fit and tool interchange across compatible press brake systems.

Parameters Confirmed Upon Order

The following parameters are customer-defined. TFI Co. will confirm these via email upon receipt of order:

  • Tip Radius (R): Standard options: 0.6 mm / 0.8 mm / 1 mm. Custom radius available on request.
  • Segment Composition: Standard configuration: 5×150mm + 2×42.5mm. Custom segment arrangement available at no extra cost.

TFI Co. provides these technical specifications as a reference only. TFI Co. accepts no liability if a third-party manufacturer applies these specifications and is unable to achieve equivalent product quality. The manufacturing outcomes of any external production facility are entirely beyond TFI Co.’s control and responsibility.

TFI Co. provides Silver Class straight bending punch upper tools for press brake machines, serving the metal working and sheet metal fabrication industries. These tools are manufactured from high-quality alloy steel, precision-hardened and ground, and well-tested for multi-U-channel bending, box forming, and profile production on press brake machines. Available across the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar.

The dimensions of this tool are 130 mm × 26 mm (working height × body thickness), with a bending angle of 30°.

Material & Steel Grade

Special grade steels — including BÖHLER tool steel™, Type 4 Molybdenum Steel, T10, T8, 42CrMo, and Cr12MoV — are the industry-standard materials for press brake punch and die tooling. The punch and die assembly absorbs the majority of the forming force produced by the press brake, making high-strength hardened steel essential for sustained production performance and dimensional consistency.

For press brake tooling, Chromium-Molybdenum Steel (Chromoly) is widely regarded as the ideal base alloy — combining exceptional tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and a long service life capable of handling the full force range of industrial press brake applications. Tungsten carbide tooling is also an excellent choice where surface hardness requirements are extreme.

This tool is manufactured from 42CrMo (Chromium-Molybdenum Steel, 4140 Alloy). — This alloy is selected for its toughness, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability under cyclic bending loads.

Factories & Delivery

TFI Co. factories are positioned across key manufacturing regions to ensure the shortest possible lead times for customers and traders throughout the Middle East and beyond. Our management team, using the latest logistics technology, allocates each order to the optimal TFI Co. factory to ensure a seamless experience across logistics, fulfilment, and payment.

Dispatch scheduling is determined based on:

  • Time and date of order placement
  • Order quantity and total volume
  • Delivery destination and transport routing to the customer site

Segment Composition

TFI Co. press brake punch segment sets are available in standard compositions. All sets include one left ear piece and one right ear piece for full profile coverage and improved maneuverability. Standard set lengths and individual segment configurations follow TFI Co. segment standards.

Dimensional Tolerances

All body thickness dimensions for this tool conform to DIN 7168 Fine tolerance standards (DIN — Deutsches Institut für Normung, the German Institute for Standardization). This tolerance framework guarantees consistent clamping fit and reliable tool interchange across compatible press brake clamping systems and adapters.

Maximum Bending Force & Safety

All TFI Co. press brake tools carry a maximum rated bending force, which defines the safe operating limit for both staff protection and long-term tool performance. TFI Co. strongly advises all operators to remain within the stated capacity of any tool at all times.

For Further Information

For a complete breakdown of the segment set composition for this model — including individual piece lengths, quantities, and ear piece specifications — our specialists at TFI Co. are ready to provide the full configuration details.

The exact rated maximum bending force and safe tonnage capacity applicable to this specific tool model can be confirmed by contacting TFI Co. prior to finalising your order.

A 30° acute punch in the offset S-body profile — 130 mm working height. The S-profile is designed to produce a Z-bend or offset step in a single press brake stroke: two parallel bends at different heights, forming a stepped flange or joggle without repositioning the workpiece. Particularly effective for window channel sections, stepped frames, offset flanges, and any profile where a conventional straight punch cannot access the geometry because the required bends lie at different heights.

TFI Co. provides precision press brake tooling for the metalworking industry, manufactured from 42CrMo (Chromium-Molybdenum Steel) — hard, precision-ground, and well-tested for multi-stage bending and box-forming applications. Precision-hardened to 52 HRC, all body thickness dimensions conform to DIN 7168 tolerance standards.

Available for immediate delivery across the UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar from TFI Co. logistics centres. All punch segment sets include one left ear and one right ear piece.

All tools come with a maximum tonnage capacity. TFI Co. strongly advises all customers to stay within the rated capacity for staff safety, and to only apply the stated maximum force — not more.
